DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION

The Importance of Diversity

85% of employers believe that increasing diversity in their workplace is a priority yet almost half of employers (46%) have no specific programmes in place to attract diverse candidates.

At Phoenix Pursuit, we strongly believe in the promotion of a diverse and inclusive workforce. Having different backgrounds and perspectives within your team will allow for newer and more diversified ideas to help tackle problems and drive innovation.

An agency that prioritises DEI can attract clients and candidates who are looking for a more inclusive hiring process. This includes actively seeking out candidates from underrepresented groups, providing training and support to clients on how to create more diverse and inclusive work environments, and regularly reviewing and improving our own internal practices to ensure they are equitable.

This is where we step in…

Below are a few of the many techniques we adopt when sourcing candidates to ensure everyone gets a fair shot:

Strategic Sourcing

At Phoenix Pursuit, we place an emphasis on our diversified sourcing methods to service our client’s diversity targets. Some of our practices include active searches for underrepresented candidates; using social groups/ events to target women in tech and many more…

Job Advertisements

All of our job adverts are inclusive to everyone regardless of Age, Sexuality, Gender and Race. Depending on the location of the role, some of the requirements may include a language proficiency other than English. This is where we would pay closer attention to ensuring that we are inclusive to all candidates. Our vetting stages with our consultants ensure that the language proficiency meets the minimum expectations through our attentive qualification meetings set out with the candidates. Although not the easiest route, we do this to tick all the boxes for your hiring needs, including diversity.

CRM

We ensure that our database has range! Currently as it stands, our talent pool consists of 38% of people that identify as women and 57%, from ethnic minority backgrounds. Having this control over our CRM enables us to accelerate through our search as we are able to filter through our talent accordingly, instead of having to rely on additional job boards and CV libraries to source the ideal talents.
